Our service functions as a technical intermediary — similar to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a VPN — that generates temporary download links from third-party file hosting platforms on behalf of registered users. We only provide a bandwidth-based service; we facilitate data transfer, nothing more.
CoolDebrid operates in the same manner as an ISP or web proxy: we provide bandwidth and access, but we do not control, review, screen, or monitor the content that passes through our service. Just as an ISP is not responsible for the websites its subscribers visit, CoolDebrid is not responsible for the content of files that users choose to download through our service.
We do not operate a search engine, file index, or content directory. We do not provide links to any content. Users must independently obtain download URLs from third-party sources and submit them to our service for processing.
CoolDebrid respects intellectual property rights and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Copyright Directive, and applicable copyright laws worldwide.
We expect all users to use our service responsibly and in compliance with applicable copyright laws. Users must not use CoolDebrid to download content they do not have the legal right to access. Users who repeatedly violate copyright policies may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content accessible through CoolDebrid infringes on your copyrights, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Although CoolDebrid does not host any files and cannot remove content from third-party servers, we take copyright infringement seriously and will take the following actions upon receipt of a valid notice:
Our Active Anti-Piracy Measures:
1. URL Blocking: We will immediately block the specific file URLs identified in the takedown notice from being processed through our service. These URLs will be added to our permanent blocklist and can never be generated again through CoolDebrid.
2. Pattern Blocking: For repeated infringement from a specific source, we may block entire domains, URL patterns, or file naming patterns from being processed.
3. Hash Blocking: When file hashes are provided, we will block all matching files regardless of the URL or filehost they are accessed from.
4. User Sanctions: We take immediate action against users who use our service to access infringing content. See Section 6 (Repeat Infringer Policy) for our escalation procedure.
5. Referral to Source: Since infringing files are hosted on third-party platforms (not on CoolDebrid), we strongly recommend that rights holders also submit takedown notices directly to the file hosting service where the content is actually stored, as they are the only party with the ability to delete the actual files.
We actively comply with DMCA requests and maintain a comprehensive blocklist of reported URLs. Our system processes takedown requests promptly, and blocked URLs remain blocked permanently.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The specific URL(s) processed through CoolDebrid that you believe infringe on your copyright.

5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you believe that content was wrongly blocked as a result of a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification containing the following:
1. Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.

3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was blocked as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.

CoolDebrid maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who repeatedly use our service to access copyrighted content without authorization will face the following consequences:
First violation: Warning notification sent to the user's registered email address. The specific infringing URL is blocked from our service.
Second violation: Temporary account suspension (7 days) and all identified infringing URLs are blocked.
Third violation: Permanent account termination. The user is permanently banned from creating new accounts.
CoolDebrid is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
CoolDebrid is not responsible for the content hosted on third-party file hosting platforms. We do not review, verify, or endorse any content accessible through our service. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of CoolDebrid complies with all applicable laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoolDebrid shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
These terms and any disputes arising from the use of CoolDebrid shall be governed by applicable laws. Any legal action must be initiated within one (1) year after the cause of action arises.
